What are Uniswap and UNI?
Uniswap is a decentralized exchange protocol built on Ethereum. Instead of matching buy and sell orders in a traditional order book, it uses an automated market maker (AMM), which prices tokens based on how much liquidity is available.
UNI is the governance token of the Uniswap Protocol. UNI holders can vote on proposals about how the protocol operates. The protocol is governed by UNI token holders and stewarded by the Uniswap Foundation.
