What are Sui and SUI?
SUI is the native token of the Sui network. On Sui, SUI is used to pay gas fees – the network fees required to execute transactions or other operations.
SUI also has other network roles: It can be used to participate in proof-of-stake, used across applications and used in on-chain governance, such as voting on protocol upgrades.
How to buy SUI in the US
In the Crypto.com App, the basic flow is:

Once funds are available, you can buy SUI and manage it in one place.

You can fund your account for SUI using bank transfer (ACH or wire), a debit or credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or a crypto deposit from another wallet.
If you use a crypto deposit, make sure the token is supported and send it to the correct deposit address, as crypto transactions are irreversible. Crypto sent through unsupported chains cannot be credited or refunded.
