What are Plasma and XPL?
Plasma is a Layer 1 blockchain focused on stablecoin payments. Its design includes stablecoin-focused features such as gasless USDT transfers.
XPL is the native token of the Plasma blockchain. On the network, XPL is used for fee payments beyond gasless USDT transfers and validator participation. Plasma also includes a protocol-managed paymaster that sponsors gas costs for USDT transfers, so users can send USDT without holding XPL for those transfers.
Although the term "stablecoin" is commonly used, there is no guarantee that the asset will maintain a stable value in relation to the value of the reference asset when traded on secondary markets or that the reserve of assets, if there is one, will be adequate to satisfy all redemptions.

Ways to pay for Plasma in the US
For US users, the US dollar (USD) is the primary fiat currency accepted on the platform. Funding options include bank transfer, credit/debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or crypto transferred to your wallet.
You can deposit USD by ACH or wire transfer to your Fiat Wallet to buy Plasma without paying foreign exchange fees. Review the rate, payment method and amount before confirming.
Can you buy less than one Plasma?
Yes. Cryptocurrencies are divisible, so you don’t need to buy a whole Plasma token. US users can purchase fractional amounts from as little as US$1.
If you use a One-Time Buy order in the App, the conversion rate is valid for 15 seconds. If you don’t confirm in that time, the rate refreshes. Once a One-Time order is placed, it can’t be canceled because it executes immediately.
