What are Gnosis and GNO?
Gnosis began as a decentralized prediction market and has expanded into blockchain infrastructure for the Ethereum ecosystem.
GNO is the native token of the Gnosis ecosystem and the governance token for GnosisDAO. A minimum of 1 GNO is required to participate in GnosisDAO governance.
How can you buy Gnosis in the US?
In the Crypto.com App, the basic buy flow is:
- Create your account and complete identity verification.
- Tap 'Buy' and search for Gnosis.
- Enter the purchase amount.
- Select your payment method.
- Review the order details, then confirm when ready.
For One-Time Buy orders, the conversion rate is valid for 15 seconds. If you don’t confirm in that window, the rate refreshes.
Trading is subject to account verification and eligibility.
What payment methods can you use for GNO?
For US users, the US Dollar (USD) is the primary fiat currency for buying Gnosis. Payment or funding options can include ACH or wire transfer to a Fiat Wallet, credit/debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or crypto held in a Token Wallet, depending on the payment route and jurisdiction.
Depositing USD via local bank transfer can help avoid foreign exchange fees when buying Gnosis with USD.
Can you buy less than 1 GNO?
Yes. Cryptocurrencies are divisible, so US users can buy fractional amounts of Gnosis rather than a whole token. For One-Time orders in the App, the minimum buy or sell amount is equivalent to US$1.
Once a One-Time order has been placed, it can’t be canceled because it is executed immediately. Review the amount, payment method and refreshed rate before confirming.
