Crypto.com Supports the GALA Contract Swap

Expected to take place on 15 May 2023

The GALA team will be launching GALA, its new-and-improved Gala Games ecosystem token, via a contract swap. It will be airdropped to all GALA token holders on 15 May 2023. This updated token aims to massively improve the security, scalability, and overall sustainability of the Gala Games ecosystem. 

Crypto.com will support this contract swap, and a snapshot of all user balances will be taken on 15 May 2023; the GALA team will share the exact time as the date approaches. New GALA(v2) tokens will be sent to every user at a 1:1 ratio. It is recommended that you store your GALA in your personal wallet to ensure that the drop is delivered directly to your account.

GALA deposits and withdrawals in the Crypto.com App and on the Crypto.com Exchange will be suspended on 15 May 2023, 07:00 UTC. Spot trading of GALA will not be affected on either the App or Exchange.

Crypto.com App users with GALA balances in their Crypto Wallet, Earn, Spending Power, and Credit are eligible for the GALA airdrop. Please note that pending transactions/open orders are excluded.

Crypto.com Exchange users with GALA balances in their Spot and Derivatives Wallet (excluding GALA loans, if any) are eligible for the airdrop. Please note that pending transactions/open orders are excluded.
