Crypto.com Supports the Flare (FLR) Airdrop for XRP Holders from supported jurisdictions

In November 2020, Crypto.com announced that we will be supporting the Flare Network (FLR) token distribution. Since then, the Flare Network team has released the token’s distribution event schedule  and on 21 October 2022, the Flare team has further updated that the airdrop will now take place at a future date. Refer to their announcement for more details.

Crypto.com will distribute FLR to all XRP holders from supported jurisdictions, in the Crypto.com App and Exchange based on the snapshot of their XRP balances on 12 December 2020, 00:00 UTC. 

Distribution

There will be no minimum XRP holding requirement to receive FLR tokens. Each user holding XRP will be eligible to receive Flare (FLR) tokens in the ratio of 1 XRP : 1 FLR. For this airdrop, users will receive 15% of the total FLR tokens they are eligible to receive. Please refer to the Flare governance proposal post for the latest details on FLR token distribution.

Update as of 23 December 2022: The Flare team has announced that the Flare Token Distribution Event (TDE) is confirmed for 9 January 2023. Crypto.com will be distributing the FLR tokens to eligible users within 2 weeks of this date.

Crypto.com App users from supported jurisdictions, with XRP balances in their Crypto Wallet, Earn, Spending Power, and Credit are eligible for the FLR airdrop based on the aforementioned formula and snapshot time. Please note that pending transactions/open orders are excluded.

Distribution details for Crypto.com Exchange

Crypto.com Exchange users from supported jurisdictions with XRP balances in their Spot, Margin, and Derivatives wallet (excluding any XRP loans, if any) will be eligible for the airdrop based on the aforementioned formula and snapshot time. Please note that pending transactions/open orders are excluded. All loaned XRP and benefits from loaned amounts in Margin trading, and XRP loaned amounts in Lending, are excluded from the snapshot.
