r/CryptoCurrency Moons is an ERC-20 token on Arbitrum Nova launched by Reddit admins as a part of the Community Points project. Users can be rewarded for their contributions in r/CryptoCurrency with a unit of ownership in the subreddit. Moons are independent of Reddit. They can be freely transferred, tipped and spent in r/CryptoCurrency, and be used to display reputation within the subreddit, unlock exclusive features like badges and GIFs in comments with a Special Membership, and add weight to votes in polls. MOON is the native token powering the community’s governance, which takes place in the form of moon-weighted polls that can be created by any redditor with an idea on how to improve the subreddit or Moons system.
Crypto.com App users can now purchase MOON easily with USD, EUR, GBP, and 20+ fiat currencies, and spend it at over 80 million merchants globally using the Crypto.com Visa Card.
