In 2022, CMU ranked first in the speciality areas of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, computer engineering, and information & technology management, which are all relevant to the blockchain industry. Schools and colleges within CMU that are anticipated to participate in the blockchain activities include its College of Engineering, School of Computer Science, Tepper School of Business, and Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy.
Crypto.com will support CyLab as a strategic partner for an initial period of three years. This includes supporting both the Secure Blockchain Initiative and CyLab itself.
