Escape From Egret Bridge
Egret Bridge - a busy town where those traveling North or South by boat cross those traveling East or West on foot. Ever present are the egrets, who listen for news and secrets to carry to the Black Crane Emperor. An alarm rings out across the town – a larcenous duo have just stolen a set of plates needed to serve the peaches of immortality they intend to illicitly pluck from a sage’s mountaintop garden. “Escape From Egret Bridge” is the latest collection in the world of The Longclaw Teahouse; a world inspired by my travels in Asia Pacific that gets a little bigger with every illustration I create. The collection consists of one centrepiece laden with details and characters both old and new. Accompanying it are ten sidepieces – illustrations of the travelers found within. Original artwork: I create all my artwork by hand using traditional media: pen, pencil, inks and paper.
