On-Chain Staking Now Available for ETH in the Crypto.com DeFi Wallet

We’re thrilled to introduce the launch of On-Chain Staking for ETH in the Crypto.com DeFi Wallet, now available on both iOS and Android devices!

With On-Chain Staking, you can now stake your ETH in just a few quick taps, earning rewards while you help in securing the Ethereum network. Staked ETH is auto-compounded to maximise your rewards over time. You will also enjoy the flexibility of unstaking anytime in a secure and convenient manner.*

To get started with On-Chain Staking for ETH, simply navigate to the Earn tab within the DeFi Wallet App, and select ETH (POS Staking). You will then be able to enter your desired amount of ETH to stake. There is no minimum amount of ETH required to get started!

Important Notes

While the Ethereum staking validator queue is being processed, you may receive an Annual Percentage Rate (APR) from 0-1% for the first 4 days after staking. APR will change to be in line with overall Ethereum network staking APR as the amount of staked ETH increases.

Please note that a commission fee of 15% of staked rewards applies, along with the usual Ethereum network fees.

*The DeFi Wallet does not impose a lock-up for staked ETH, but there may be an unstaking queue of 1-2 days imposed by the ETH Network.
