Popcat (POPCAT) is now listed in the Crypto.com App, joining the growing list of 250+ supported cryptocurrencies and stablecoins, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Polkadot (DOT), Chainlink (LINK), VeChain (VET), USD Coin (USDC), and Cronos (CRO).
Popcat is a cryptocurrency project inspired by a viral internet meme featuring a domestic short-haired cat named Oatmeal whose mouth “pops” open and close. Developed into a simple yet engaging online game, users click on the cat’s image to create a “pop”. Each “pop” contributes to a global tally of pops. POPCAT currently serves no utility aside from users being able to hold and trade it.
Crypto.com App users can now purchase POPCAT easily with USD, EUR, GBP, and 20+ fiat currencies, and spend it at over 80 million merchants globally using the Crypto.com Visa Card.
