We’re proud to announce that the Crypto.com Wallet Extension now supports the Bitcoin (BTC) network!
Users now have access to a Native Segwit and Taproot wallet directly in the Wallet Extension, with the ability to seamlessly send and receive BTC.
To view their BTC balances, users can simply tap the network selection menu in the Wallet Extension to switch to the Bitcoin network. From there, an additional dropdown menu appears and either the Native Segwit or Taproot addresses can be selected.
The wallet extension supports BRC-20 tokens, and users need simply view their existing tokens under the Assets tab. The following BRC-20 tokens are supported in the Crypto.com DeFi Wallet Extension (as of 25 July 2023), with more to come in future:
