We are thrilled to announce the launch of Eigenlayer native restaking in the Crypto.com App. By participating in Eigenlayer’s restaking system, you can maximise the utility of your staked ETH even further.
Why restake with Eigenlayer?
Eigenlayer Restaking allows you to achieve improved capital efficiency and higher rewards* from your staked ETH. Participants can claim additional rewards by securing more networks, without having to stake more ETH.
Successful validations may result in regular ETH staking reward payouts and Eigen Points from Eigenlayer**. Eigen Points are users’ contributions to the Eigenlayer ecosystem, which qualifies them for an anticipated airdrop allocation, which Eigenlayer will determine and announce at a later date.**
What is Eigenlayer Restaking?
Eigenlayer is a protocol built on top of Ethereum and acts as a middle layer that utilises restaked ETH to provide security and validating service for middlewares, thereby enhancing the utility of staked ETH. Applications benefit from enhanced security without needing to manage their validation infrastructure, and validators can leverage their staked ETH for additional rewards (i.e., fees paid by protocols). For ETH stakers, this enables them to delegate their staked ETH to Eigenlayer and its respective Operators to earn multiple rewards: one layer from the main Ethereum network, and additionally from the Active Validated Services (AVS) they are restaked to (by allowing additional slashing risks).
*Restaking yield from Eigenlayer will be enabled at a later date and will be dependent on Eigenlayerl’s notice.
**As all withdrawals, including rewards, go through a seven-day withdrawal delay on Eigenlayer, your Estimated First Reward will take longer than regular ETH staking.

On-chain Staking is available to Crypto.com App users in most jurisdictions. Eigenlayer Restaked Points may not result in any actual rewards, benefits, or returns and are fully dependent on Eigenlayer and/or its related protocols. By participating in Eigenlayer ETH Restaking, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with holding or using Eigenlayer Restaked Points.
