Optimism (OP) is now listed in the Crypto.com App, joining the growing list of 250+ supported cryptocurrencies and stablecoins, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Polkadot (DOT), Chainlink (LINK), VeChain (VET), USD Coin (USDC), and Cronos (CRO).

Optimism is a low-cost, lightning-fast, Ethereum Layer-2 blockchain solution built on four major pillars: simplicity, pragmatism, sustainability, and optimism. Its goal is to make Ethereum transactions cheaper and faster, while avoiding the governance pitfalls that other Ethereum models face today. Certain governance rights are granted via OP, an ERC20 token created by Optimism for the Token House, one of the two parts of the project’s bicameral governance system called The Optimism Collective.
