NFT was literally the word of 2021. Indeed, non-fungible tokens exploded in popularity last year, disrupting how we create, share, and interact with art and culture. 

As we gear up for 2022, let us take a look back at the remarkable year that has gone by. We launched the Crypto.com NFT platform in March 2021, and with your help, have since achieved several milestones.

We collaborated with 150+ artists

Working with artists, musicians, brands, celebrities, and more, we launched many notable NFT collections, including Snoop Dogg’s “A Journey with the Dogg”, Aston Martin Cognizant F1 Team’s “A New Era Begins”, and BossLogic’s “Greater Heights”. 

Collaborating closely with creators, we helped accelerate the growth and distribution of their work through sell-out NFT drops, such as Ugonzo’s “PsychoKitties: The New Era” and Morysetta’s “Collage Mirage: Morysetta”.

We partnered with the UFC and Philadelphia 76ers on historic collections to bring to life sports history for fans to own, collect, and share.

We launched 220+ NFT drops 

These include 12 Crypto.com drops: The Cryptoverse series (Lion Master, Shibakun, Miner Mole), CryptoCards, festive drops like Cryptmas Bingo, and our first PFP collection of 10,000 “Loaded Lion” NFTs. 

Sold out on drop day, the Loaded Lions collection has reached USD 25+ million in trading volume thanks to support from the Crypto.com NFT community. With the launch of The Mane Net, “Loaded Lion” NFT holders can look forward to exciting events and exclusive perks in 2022.

We built a feature for users to mint their own NFTs 

Crypto.com NFT users can also become creators and mint their own artworks into NFTs, allowing anyone to bring their creative visions to life. Learn more here. 

We built a Crypto.com NFT community 

Since the Crypto.com NFT Marketplace launched in September 2021, we’ve onboarded over 10,000 creators. We also built a 46K-strong following on our @cryptocomnft Twitter account and a growing Discord community.

And we’re just getting started! This year, expect more creators, more drops, and an integrated experience across the Crypto.com App and Crypto.com NFT, to name a few. We look forward to creating an even stronger and better 2022 together.
