Crypto.com App and Exchange to Support Ethereum’s Shapella Upgrade

Ethereum network transfers will be temporarily suspended on 12 April at 22:27 UTC, tentatively

Crypto.com will be supporting Ethereum’s Shapella upgrade, which is currently scheduled to take place on 12 April 2023 at 22:27 UTC. 

To ensure the safety of users’ funds during and after the upgrade, we will temporarily suspend deposits and withdrawals on the Ethereum, Optimism and Arbitrum networks. This suspension will be put in place for the Crypto.com App and Exchange on 12 April 2023 at 22:20 UTC until the network upgrade is complete.

Following the Shapella upgrade, Crypto.com will be increasing the confirmations of deposits into Ethereum network from the current 12 blocks to 64 blocks.

Trading on the Ethereum, Optimism and Arbitrum networks will not be affected. We will closely monitor the situation and resume deposits and withdrawals once the network proves to be stable.
