In February, Crypto.com made two major statements: the rebranding of the Crypto.org Coin to Cronos and the launch of ‘The Moment of Truth’ ad campaign featuring LeBron James.
Reflecting the decentralisation and tremendous growth of the Cronos ecosystem, our utility token will usher in the next major phase in the adoption and utilisation of Web3 by hundreds of millions of users.
Meanwhile, in our first Super Bowl ad, Crypto.com and NBA great LeBron James joined forces to inspire the next generation to “call your own shots” and build the web of the future, building upon our landmark partnership with James from last month.
We were also honoured to partner with Miami Garden, Fla. South Florida Motorsports as title partner of the newest Formula 1® event: the Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix.
We continued building and enhancing our product suite, starting with the launch of the Crypto.com Exchange Market Maker Programme, to offer the best bespoke privileges. Meanwhile, Crypto.com NFT has started supporting NFTs minted and hosted on the Ethereum blockchain, opening up more opportunities for the platform’s users.
Beyond these expansions, we also introduced measures that make the Crypto.com experience more secure for users. We launched the Account Protection Programme (APP) in Australia, providing relief to users who are affected by unauthorised transactions.
Also this month, Crypto.com was awarded the renowned ISO 22301 certification for Business Continuity Management (BCM), becoming one of the first cryptocurrency companies to achieve this standard.
Finally, we donated USD 1,000,000 to the Red Cross in support of humanitarian efforts to aid civilians affected by the recent conflict in Ukraine.
