Crypto.com App and Exchange to Support the Merit Circle (MC) Token Swap and Rebranding to Beam (BEAMX)

MC tokens will be reissued as BEAMX tokens on the Crypto.com App and Exchange

Please be informed that Crypto.com has completed the Merit Circle (MC) Token Swap and Rebranding to Beam (BEAMX).

Existing MC tokens have been converted to BEAM tokens in a 1:100 (MC to BEAM) ratio according to the MC balances in eligible users’ Crypto Wallet in the Crypto.com App and Spot Wallet in the Crypto.com Exchange at the time of the delist.

Trading of BEAMX has resumed on both the Crypto.com App and Exchange as of 16 Nov 2023.

A separate announcement will be made at a later date when deposits and withdrawals of BEAMX are resumed.

We are pleased to announce that the Crypto.com App and Crypto.com Exchange will support the Merit Circle (MC) token swap, redenomination, and rebranding to Beam (BEAMX). As a result, deposits, withdrawals, and trades of MC on the Crypto.com App and Exchange will be suspended on 7 November 2023.

Following this, MC will be delisted from the Crypto.com App and Crypto.com Exchange. MC tokens will be reissued as BEAMX tokens at a later date, in a 1:100 (MC to BEAMX) ratio according to the MC balances in eligible users’ Crypto Wallet in the Crypto.com App and Spot Wallet in the Crypto.com Exchange at the time of the delisting.

Crypto.com App

Deposits, withdrawals, and trades of MC will be suspended at 01:00 UTC on 7 November in the Crypto.com App.
All Target Price Orders and Recurring Buys of MC after 7 November, 01:00 UTC, will be automatically terminated.

Crypto.com Exchange

Deposits, withdrawals, and trades of MC will be suspended at 02:00 UTC on 7 November in the Crypto.com Exchange.
All open MC orders for Spot trading will be closed after 7 November, 02:00 UTC.

A separate announcement will be made at a later date when deposits and withdrawals of BEAMX are resumed.

Important Notes:

For reasons beyond our control, you may incur a retrieval fee if deposits of MC tokens are made after the suspension on 7 November at the delisting times listed above. Token retrieval may not be possible in some cases.
