The dYdX x Crypto.com Onchain Royale Is Back for Season 2: Win a Share of 20,000 USDC

By popular demand, the Crypto.com Onchain and dYdX Onchain Royale trading competition is back for Season 2 with a prize pool of $20,000 USDC to be won! 

You must register for the competition to be eligible. Registration starts today and is open throughout the Competition Period.

This time, we’ve added new categories you can join, bringing the total of categories to three. This grants traders of all experience levels a chance to win!

Prize Pools

1. Absolute PnL Pool: Up to 15,500 USDC

The Absolute PnL Leaderboard rewards traders who achieve the highest profit in USD terms, and is perfect for whales and high-volume players who want to showcase their trading firepower. 

This prize pool is only unlocked once the total trading volume during the competition reaches $10M.  However, the pool also scales with total trading volume: If the total trading volume during the competition is at $10M or more, the pool is $13,000. At $20M+ total volume, it grows to $15,500!

The more everyone trades, the bigger the pot gets. Push volume higher, and claim your share at the top of the leaderboard!

Eligibility:

• A minimum starting equity of 100 USDC is required
• Participants must achieve a minimum trading volume of US$10,000 during the competition period
• Users must execute at least three trades during the competition period
• Participants must end the competition with a positive PnL

Reward:

• Users will be ranked according to their absolute profit-and-loss (PnL) in USD terms.
• The top 30 traders receiving a share of the prize pool as per the breakdown below:

2. Relative ROI Pool: 3,000 USDC

Think precision matters more than size? The Relative ROI Leaderboard rewards traders who generate the highest Return-On-Investment percentage (ROI %)  during the competition. This is ideal for sharp, high-conviction players trading with smaller capital!

This is a fixed 3,000 USDC prize pool split across the top 20 traders by ROI %.

Eligibility:

• A minimum starting equity of 100 USDC is required
• Participants must achieve a minimum trading volume of US$10,000 during the competition period
• Users must execute at least three trades during the competition period
• Participants must end the competition with a positive ROI %

Reward:

• Users will be ranked by ROI %
• The top 20 traders will share a fixed 3,000 USDC prize pool as per the breakdown below:

3. Streak Bonus Pool: 1,500 USDC

The Streak Bonus pool rewards any trader who consistently trades on dYdX during the competition period, regardless of PnL! 

A random draw of 60 traders who trade on at least 5 out of the 7 competition days will receive a $25 bonus. Make sure you don’t miss a day!

Eligibility:

• A minimum starting equity of 100 USDC is required
• Participants must achieve a minimum trading volume of US$10,000 during the competition period
• Users must execute at least three trades during the competition period

Reward:

• A random draw of 60 traders to successfully trade on at least 5 out of 7 of the competition days will receive a 25 USDC bonus.
• “First 60 traders” are scored by UTC timing. For example, Day Five will be 9 September, 00:00 UTC - 23:59 UTC.

How to Participate

To view and participate in this competition, launch the Onchain app and tap on the dYdX banner in the homepage. You will then be directed to register for the competition. Only successfully registered participants will be eligible.

Deposit the minimum equity required for the respective prize pool(s) on dYdX before the competition starts.

All trades must be executed via dYdX in the Crypto.com Onchain app to be eligible.
