Crypto.com Is Supporting the FXS (FXS) Rebranding to Frax (FRAX)

Crypto.com is supporting the Frax Share (FXS) rebranding to Frax (FRAX). Trading, deposits, and withdrawals of FXS in the Crypto.com App and Crypto.com Exchange/Advanced Trading Platform will remain available until 13 January 2026 (‘Effective Date’), 01:00 UTC and 02:00 UTC, respectively, after which they will be permanently suspended.

Existing FXS tokens will be converted to FRAX tokens at a later date, in a 1:1 ratio according to the FXS balances in eligible users’ Crypto Wallet in the Crypto.com App and Spot Wallet on the Crypto.com Exchange/Advanced Trading Platform at the time of the rebrand. The following changes will also take place: 

Crypto.com App

Trading, Deposits and Withdrawals

Trading, deposits and withdrawals of FXS will be paused. 

Limit Orders, TWAP Orders and Recurring Buy

FXS Limit orders, TWAP Orders and Recurring Buy orders will be automatically terminated.

Crypto Basket

FXS trading via Crypto Basket will no longer be available after the Effective Date. 

Card Top-Up

FXS will no longer be available for Card Top-Ups after 13 January 2026, 01:00 UTC. FXS as an Auto Top-Up method will also be disabled.

Crypto.com Exchange/Advanced Trading Platform

Deposits and Withdrawals

Deposits and withdrawals of FXS will be paused. 

Spot Trading and Trading Bots

Open FXS Spot orders will be closed, and active trading bots will be automatically terminated after the Effective Date. Users are advised to settle all negative FXS balances, and any open positions will be closed by the Effective Date. 

A separate announcement will be made when rebranding is complete and when FRAX trading, deposits, and withdrawals are enabled.
