Introducing Live In-App Call Warning, an iOS feature for the Crypto.com App that lets you instantly confirm whether a phone call claiming to be from Crypto.com is legitimate.

How does Live In-App Call Warning work?

Simply complete the following steps when you receive a call claiming to be from Crypto.com:

1. Open the Crypto.com App after picking up the call.
2. Check the top of your screen, you will see a warning banner if we are not calling you.
3. If the banner confirms we are not calling you, hang up the call immediately.

How to further strengthen your security

Live In-App Call Warning should be used as part of a layered security approach. We strongly recommend enabling the following features to help reduce both technical risks and social engineering attacks:

• 2-Factor Authentication (2FA): Requires both your passcode and a second verification step to prove your identity
• Passkey: Sign in using your device's biometrics or a portable hardware key
• Anti-Phishing Code: Easily identify legitimate Crypto.com emails with a unique code
• 24-Hour Withdrawal Lock: Temporarily disable withdrawals to new addresses
