zkSync (ZK) is now listed in the Crypto.com App, joining the growing list of 250+ supported cryptocurrencies and stablecoins, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Polkadot (DOT), Chainlink (LINK), VeChain (VET), USD Coin (USDC), and Cronos (CRO).
zkSync is an EVM-compatible ZK Layer-2 rollup that uses cryptographic validity proofs to deliver scalable and low-cost transactions on Ethereum in a trustless manner. It is powered by the zkRollup technology, where computation and most data storage are performed off-chain. Multiple transactions are aggregated into a single proof that can be verified on the Ethereum blockchain, enhancing transaction throughput and reducing costs. ZK serves as the native token for zkSync, and is used in the zkSync governance system to provide voting power to participants through delegation, with each token representing one vote.
