Crypto.com Custody Trust Company Achieves SOC 1 Type II and SOC 2 Type II Compliance

Latest Attestations Strengthen Institutional-Grade Assurance

15 Sep, 2025 – Crypto.com Custody Trust Company, Crypto.com’s U.S.-based custody solution for all North American digital assets and eligible North American institutions, today announced that it has successfully completed its SOC 1 Type II and SOC 2 Type II examinations for its custody services. These attestations underscore Crypto.com Custody’s ongoing commitment to transparency, governance, and robust security for institutional clients.

The SOC 1 Type II report provides independent assurance on the design and operating effectiveness of controls relevant to financial reporting, while the SOC 2 Type II report attests to the strength of our system and security posture, aligned with the AICPA Trust Services Criteria. In addition to third-party assurance of Crypto.com Custody Trust Company’s controls for design and operating effectiveness, these attestations complement Crypto.com Custody’s MPC-based architecture, segregated account model, insurance coverage, and staking integrations.

This is the latest milestone in strengthening the security infrastructure of the Crypto.com Custody Trust Company. In June 2025, Crypto.com Custody Trust Company announced that it has USD $120 million total of crime and specie insurance coverage for digital assets held in custody by Crypto.com Custody Trust Company.
