What is Cash Earn?

Cash Earn enables you to receive up to 5.00% APY paid in CRO on your cash balance in the US Cash Earn Account within the Crypto.com App, with the APY rate determined by your Level Up plan.** There are no minimum balance requirements, no caps on total earnings, or lockup period, giving you complete flexibility in how you grow and manage your funds. 

Up to $5 million of funds in your Cash Earn account are FDIC-insured through a cash sweeps program by Green Dot Bank, Member FDIC and its partner network of FDIC-insured banks. The Cash Earn account is a subaccount of the USD Cash Account. Once you successfully open a USD Cash Account with Green Dot Bank you can set up a Cash Earn account. There is no minimum balance required, you have the flexibility to use the account as much as you want, up to US$10M. No lockup period means you can deposit, withdraw, and access your cash at any time. Furthermore, users in eligible states can reallocate and compound their CRO by staking them, which also helps support the security of the Cronos network.*** APY will be paid out monthly in CRO.

How It Works

Follow these steps to get started with Cash Earn in the Crypto.com App: 

1. Tap the Level Up button on the top-right corner of the home screen, and follow the instructions to join.
2. Go to Cash Earn from the main menu to set up your Cash Earn account. Ensure you have already created a Cash Account. 
3. Transfer funds from your Cash Account to your Cash Earn account. 
4. Once your Cash Earn account is funded, you will immediately start earning CRO based on your Level Up plan. Your CRO will be credited to your Crypto Wallet on a monthly basis.

**APY is based on Level Up tier. Interest is paid in CRO monthly and the value of CRO may change at any time. The Annual Percentage Yield (APY) is accurate as of September 2, 2025 and may change at any time before or after you open an account. Fees may reduce earnings on your account.
