CRO Staking grants you various benefits under the Level Up program. As your CRO is staked on-chain, you contribute to the security of the underlying blockchain. The reward rates for staking are dependent on the blockchain and may be subject to change.
Rewards are paid weekly to your Level Up Stake, thus compounding your rewards. The staking and unstaking processes require an activation and unbonding period, respectively. This feature is subject to jurisdictional availability.
CRO Lockup allows you to enjoy the same Level Up benefits as CRO Staking. However, as your CRO is not staked on-chain, reward rates are set by Crypto.com based on market conditions. Additionally, rewards are not compounded. CRO Lockup is subject to jurisdictional availability in markets where CRO Staking is not available.
The Midnight tier is available without the need for a Cardholder CRO Stake or CRO Lockup. All other tiers require you to stake or lock up CRO tokens for a period of 365 days.
To lock up or stake CRO, simply:
Sign up for a Crypto.com App account and complete our KYC verification.
Purchase CRO tokens.
Deposit them into your crypto wallet in the App — if you buy CRO directly in the App, it will be deposited automatically.
If desired, you can stake or lock up CRO during the pre-qualification process for the Crypto.com Visa Signature® Credit Card.
