Crypto.com Is Supporting the Fantom (FTM) Token Swap and Rebrand to Sonic (S)

FTM tokens will be reissued as S tokens in a 1:1 ratio

Please be informed that Crypto.com is supporting the Fantom (FTM) token swap and rebrand to Sonic (S). Trading, deposits, and withdrawals of FTM in the Crypto.com App and Crypto.com Exchange will be permanently suspended on 13 January 2025, 01:00 UTC and 02:00 UTC, respectively. 

Existing FTM tokens will be converted to S tokens at a later date, in a 1:1 ratio according to the FTM balances in eligible users’ Crypto Wallet in the Crypto.com App and Spot Wallet on the Crypto.com Exchange at the time of the delisting.

Crypto.com App

Target Price orders, TWAP orders and Recurring Buys

FTM Target Price, TWAP, and Recurring Buy orders will be automatically terminated.

Card Top-Up

FTM will no longer be available for Card Top-Ups (including Auto Top-Up) after 13 January 2025, 01:00 UTC. 

Crypto Earn

FTM deposits and withdrawals will be disabled on 13 January 2025, 01:00 UTC. Users will receive their final FTM rewards and their FTM balance will be swapped to S. After 13 January 2025, users will only receive rewards in S if any. During the swapping, rewards will continue to accrue. A separate announcement will be made once S deposits and withdrawals are enabled on Earn. 

Crypto Basket

Crypto Basket purchases and sales using FTM will no longer be available.

Derivative Products

FTMUSD CFD positions were automatically closed on 6 January 2025 at a price based on prevailing market conditions at the time of closure in USD.

Crypto.com Exchange

Spot Trading and Trading Bots

Open FTM Spot orders will be closed and active FTM trading bots will be automatically terminated.

Perpetual Contract

FTMUSD-PERP Perpetual contract has been delisted as of 6 January 2025.

A separate announcement will be made when the token migration is complete and when S deposits and withdrawals are enabled.
