How to Send eRed Packets

1. Go to the Crypto.com App main menu
2. Tap Pay > Send & Refer Crypto and choose a recipient from your contact list
3. Select a Lunar New Year greeting or write your own, and send away!

To participate in the Year of the Snake Lucky Draw, simply send at least one eRed Packet worth US$50 or more to a friend who is not a Crypto.com App user yet. 

Once they sign up for the Crypto.com App, you’ll be eligible to win US$88 of CRO in a lucky draw. There will be 88 reward recipients in total.

eRed Packet Promotion Rules (“Rules”)
By entering or participating, each participant (“Participant”) acknowledges and understands it shall comply with the Rules and the decisions of Crypto.com, which are final and binding in all respects.

1. Participation and Eligibility:
   • Participation in either the eRed Packet is optional.
   • Terms and Conditions Apply. Not available in all jurisdictions.
   • The eRed Packet Giveaway is open only to users who: 
     • are eighteen (18) years of age or older, or the minimum age required in their jurisdiction of residence to have the necessary legal capacity, right, power, and authority to accept these Rules;
     • are existing users of the Crypto.com App;
     • have a Crypto.com App account account that is not suspended, restricted, terminated or otherwise.
     • Sent an eRed Packet to someone who has not created a Crypto.com App account before

2. Promotion Period:
   From 29 January 2025, 02:00 UTC – 10 February 2025, 07:59 UTC (“Promotion Period”), a user who:
   • uses the Pay Your Friends feature to send at least one eRed Packet with a minimum US$50 value each to someone who has not created a Crypto.com App account before will be eligible to participate in the eRed Packet Giveaway (“eRed Packet Giveaway Entry Requirements”) and where the recipient must register a new Crypto.com account before end of promotion period (10 February 2025, 07:59 UTC) to be eligible
     
3. The eRed Packet Giveaway:
   • The eRed Packet Giveaway will award 88 unique users satisfying the eRed Packet Giveaway Entry Requirements with US$88 worth of CRO each.
   • There is a required minimum amount of US$50 per transfer. 

4. Valid eRed Packet Transfers:
   • An eRed Packet transfer will only be valid when it is sent to a new user who then successfully registers a Crypto.com account (including but not limited to, providing their email, phone number and identification documents) within seven days. 
   • Round-tripping transfers will not be taken into consideration in the calculation of the eligible transfer threshold.  This means that transfers from a recipient back to the sender will not be taken into consideration in meeting the required transfer threshold. (i.e. User A sends US$50 to User B. User B later sends US$50 back to User A. The US$50, in this case, will not be taken into consideration as an eligible transfer.)
     
5. Notice and other matters:
   • Qualified users that are eligible for a giveaway item will receive a confirmation email within 14 days after the end of the Promotion Period. 
   • Participants who do not meet the promotion eligibility requirements will not receive rewards. Participants’ eligibility for the promotion will be determined at the sole and absolute discretion of Crypto.com. 
   • This eRed Packet is not valid with any other offers or promotions. Any Giveaway Items are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash or any other items.
   • By participating in the campaign, participants acknowledge having read the Crypto.com Global Marketing Privacy Notice, which is published at https://crypto.com/privacy/marketing, and acknowledge that Crypto.com will use the information provided for the purposes of identity verification, assessing participants’ eligibility to participate in the campaign and redemption of the giveaway item. 
   • Crypto.com reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the Rules and mechanics of the promotion at our sole discretion without prior notice to you.
   • Nothing contained herein shall constitute a solicitation, recommendation, endorsement, or offer by Crypto.com to invest, buy or sell any digital assets.
