Crypto.com appoints Kevin Algeo as SVP, Capital Markets

May 22, 2025 – Crypto.com has appointed Kevin Algeo as SVP, Capital Markets, underscoring the company’s ongoing commitment to expanding its product offerings across key markets and shaping the future of regulated digital finance. 

Algeo brings two decades of leadership experience in financial services, having held senior roles in technology and financial services in businesses with global reach. Most recently, he served over a decade at IG Group, as the CEO of APAC & Africa and was a member of the Global Leadership Team. Throughout his career, Algeo has led high-impact initiatives focused on clients, growth and market expansion in highly regulated businesses. 

As SVP, Capital Markets, Algeo will oversee capital markets initiatives across key international regions, including the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific. Algeo will support the product rollout and broader expansion of cash equities, OTC derivatives as well as exchange traded derivatives. This role is critical in advancing Crypto.com’s global strategy and strengthens the company’s international market presence.
