What are Hyperliquid and HYPE?
Hyperliquid is a layer-one (L1) blockchain with an ecosystem that supports borrowing, lending, real-world assets and an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), which lets developers build smart contract apps on the same chain.
HYPE is the native token of the Hyperliquid blockchain. It is used for network transaction fees, also known as gas, and for governance, such as voting on protocol upgrades.
How do you send Hyperliquid in the Crypto.com App?
In the Crypto.com App:
- Go to 'Accounts', tap 'Crypto Wallet' and find your Hyperliquid balance.
- Tap 'Transfer', then 'Withdraw'.
- Choose 'Crypto.com Users' for another App user or 'External Wallet' for a supported outside address.
- Enter the amount, review the network details and authorise the transfer with your preferred protection method such as two-factor authentication (2FA).
What should you check before sending Hyperliquid?
For an external wallet, use the exact public address of the receiving wallet. Some networks may also require a destination tag or memo, so enter any extra field the App asks for before you confirm.
New external addresses must be added to your withdrawal whitelist and verified, such as with 2FA, before you can withdraw to them.
What fees, timing and reversibility apply to Hyperliquid transfers?
Sending Hyperliquid to another Crypto.com App user is instant and free of charge when the recipient is eligible. Other fees, spreads or transfer limits may apply.
External wallet withdrawals may incur standard network withdrawal fees. Review the transaction details and network costs in the App before you confirm.
Completed Crypto.com Send transfers can't be reversed. On-chain transfers also can't be cancelled or reversed once authorised and confirmed on the network, so check the recipient, amount and network carefully.
