All-Time High (ATH)

All-time high (ATH) refers to an asset’s historically highest price in market capitalisation. It is a common term used in the cryptocurrency space, often appearing on social media, such as X (formerly known as Twitter), when individuals discuss the theoretical potential of an asset. The thinking is that, if the asset reached its ATH before, theoretically, it could reach it again, or perhaps even higher.
