Crypto.com Exchange has upgraded its VIP Program to deliver a clearer, more flexible, and more durable VIP experience for high-value traders and asset holders.

The upgraded VIP Program introduces multiple qualification pathways, unified Spot and Derivatives VIP trading fees, and a two-component structure that separates trading fee eligibility from long-term VIP privileges. This ensures users can retain core VIP benefits even as their trading activity changes over time.

Previously, VIP status was primarily volume-driven. As trading behaviour evolved, users asked for more flexibility and clearer mechanics. This upgrade directly addresses that feedback by expanding qualification routes while preserving the value of VIP status once earned.

How the Upgraded VIP Program Works

The upgraded VIP Program consists of two distinct components:

VIP Tier: Determines eligibility for VIP trading fees on Spot and Derivatives.

VIP Tag: Unlocks non-fee VIP privileges and is generally permanent once obtained.

This separation ensures long-term recognition for VIP users, while keeping trading fees dynamically aligned with current activity.

VIP Qualification Pathways

You can qualify for a VIP tier by meeting any one of the following thresholds:

• 30-day Spot trading volume (including Spot Margin)
• 30-day Derivatives trading volume (including Futures and Perpetuals)
• Last-day CRO balance (staking not required)

Your VIP tier is determined by the highest level reached across any single pathway.

VIP tiers are automatically reviewed and updated daily based on your Spot volume, Derivatives volume, and CRO balance.

Product availability is subject to jurisdictional limitations.

Your VIP tier would be automatically checked and updated on a daily basis based on your spot volume, deriv volume, and CRO balance.

You only need to meet one of these thresholds to qualify. If you no longer meet any VIP tier thresholds, your VIP tier (and fee discounts) may downgrade. However, your VIP tag and non-fee benefits typically remain intact.

Once you obtain a VIP tag, you gain access to non-fee VIP benefits, including:

• Higher withdrawal limits: Increased thresholds compared to non-VIP users

• While trading fee tiers remain activity-based, core VIP privileges remain available, providing greater long-term value and stability.
