Threshold (T) is now listed in the Crypto.com App, joining the growing list of 250+ supported cryptocurrencies and stablecoins, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Polkadot (DOT), Chainlink (LINK), VeChain (VET), USD Coin (USDC), and Cronos (CRO).
The Threshold Network was launched as the product of the merger between two existing decentralised networks — the Keep Network and NuCypher. It was created to guarantee users’ sovereignty over their own digital assets by allowing smart contracts to access and manage private encrypted data. The Threshold Token (T) is the Threshold Network’s native token, which functions both as a utility token for the network and as a governance token for the Threshold DAO. The T token facilitates network operations, and it can be used for staking rewards and liquidity pools.
